Role Description: The Sustainability Intern (AI Agri-Tech & Climate-Tech) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore and open only to Singapore Permanent Residents. The intern will support research and development initiatives related to sustainable farming, AI applications in agriculture, and climate-tech solutions, including data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports and presentations. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in pilot projects with partner farms, documenting environmental and operational metrics, and helping evaluate the impact of new technologies on resource efficiency and climate resilience. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine sustainability frameworks, contribute to content for internal and external communications, and help track progress against sustainability goals and key performance indicators. The role also involves participating in meetings with stakeholders, maintaining project documentation, and supporting the development of educational materials and outreach initiatives. Qualifications: Foundational knowledge in sustainability, climate science, agriculture, environmental engineering, or a related field, with strong interest in AI and climate-tech applications. Analytical and research skills, including data collection, basic data analysis, and the ability to synthesize findings into clear reports or presentations. Technical aptitude for using digital tools, spreadsheets, and data visualization platforms; familiarity with AI, data analytics, or programming concepts is an advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills to document project activities, prepare briefings, and support internal and external stakeholder communications. Ability to work on-site in Singapore, collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team, manage time well, and take initiative in a fast-evolving start-up environment. Singapore Permanent Resident status is required; prior exposure to agri-tech, climate-tech projects, or sustainability initiatives is beneficial.
