About this internship
Summary
The Sustainable Development Strategy Intern supports the implementation of Boehringer Ingelheim's Sustainable Development for Generations (SD4G) strategy across the ASEAN, South Korea, Australia & New Zealand (ASKAN) region. Working closely with regional stakeholders, the intern contributes to advancing the SD4G pillars of More Health, More Potential, and More Green through project coordination, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, research, and reporting. This role offers hands-on exposure to regional sustainability strategy execution and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental and social impact initiatives.
Job Description
Support the implementation of the SD4G pillars across the ASKAN region, including More Health, More Potential, and More Green initiatives.
Assist in project management and coordination across SD4G workstreams, collaborating with cross-functional and regional stakeholders to plan activities, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of key milestones and deliverables.
Collect, validate, consolidate, and analyze data to monitor SD4G performance, measure impact, and support regional reporting requirements.
Conduct targeted research and benchmarking to identify best practices, emerging trends, and opportunities to strengthen SD4G pillar strategies and activities.
Prepare presentation materials, reports, and project updates for internal stakeholders and leadership reviews.
Support stakeholder engagement activities, including coordination with internal teams, external partners, and community organizations involved in SD4G initiatives.

Gained first-hand experience in advancing health equity across the full patient care continuum.
Gain exposure to regional sustainability and social impact strategy implementation.
Develop project management, stakeholder engagement, and data analytics skills.
Develop an understanding of global sustainability frameworks, internal governance processes, and impact reporting.
Work within a diverse, cross-functional environment spanning multiple markets across the ASKAN region.
Contribute to initiatives aligned with Boehringer Ingelheim's Sustainable Development for Generations (SD4G) framework.
Pre-requisite
Ability to commit full-time from Jan – May/Jun. Part-time applicants will be considered
only if you can commit to a min. of 3 workdays per week

Keen interest in sustainability, social impact, and community development
Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrates learning agility, and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders and functions.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take ownership of tasks and deliverables.
