Asian Investment Banking Division, Sustainable Finance Department (AIBD – SFD) Sustainable Finance Intern Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027 Overview Are you interested in “Sustainability”, “Net Zero”, “Carbon Neutrality”, “Sustainable Finance”? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and assisting clients reach their sustainability targets by structuring financing solutions? Are you excited by structuring client deals? If yes, then this internship is for you! Job Description This is a front office role in Asian Investment Banking Division (AIBD). You will be: Assisting senior Sustainable Finance team members in promoting Sustainable Finance in APAC, including the origination and structuring of Sustainable finance transactions Supporting business development and marketing initiatives such as analysing the market, data analysis of the client targets, rating tools Developing/enhancing products Preparing marketing materials/ reports / business management reports Supporting on MUFG led industry events Partnering with various RM and product areas to develop and market Sustainable finance products Receiving cross-product experience across Debt Capital Markets, Project Finance, Transaction Banking – from a Sustainable Finance perspective Job Requirement Skill set High Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Word Excellent oral and writing skills Data Analytics (be comfortable in generating a story from numbers) Interests/passion for Sustainability and/or Sustainable finance Keen to read research papers and keep up with latest innovations Mandarin language proficiency would be advantageous, as the role may involve supporting Mandarin-speaking stakeholders Attributes Curious and willing to learn Energetic Determined problem solver Diligent with strong work ethic and humility Team player Focused and results oriented IMPORTANT NOTE Interested applicants will be required to submit CV and Cover Letter Please submit your details via our early careers website at Careers (myworkdayjobs.com) Do note that only shortlisted applicants will be notified This internship role is based in Singapore.
