The People team designs and implements strategies targeted at addressing talent challenges tech startups face. We have a range of engagement activities which we drive, to build meaningful connections with these individuals, they can be intellectually stimulating, inspiring and most of all, fun to be at. Our work involves a lot of creativity, thoroughness and perseverance as we have a myriad of activities going on daily - from pipeline building strategies to leadership capability development programmes. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to support the team in market trends research, event planning and recruitment operations. We aim to pipeline and match talent with high-potential Deep Tech startups in the fields of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Biotech, Robotics, Quantum Computing and more. As a Talent intern, you will be responsible in supporting the team in a variety of research, planning and operational matters, ensuring a smooth execution of our Talent Initiatives. Job Responsibilities: Research and identify potential talent outreach channels to key clusters, institutions, and talent pools within relevant ecosystems, locally and overseas. Assist in planning, organizing, and executing talent outreach events (career fairs, open houses, campus talks, networking sessions), including venue booking, marketing ideation, vendor liaison, and event setup. Support outreach to universities, partners, and professional communities to drive event participation. Support the building of pipeline of qualified talent for active and future hiring needs. Assist with talent acquisition activities including candidate outreach, management screening and shortlisting for the talent programme. Research and identify potential candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, industry forums, and talent databases. Support talent marketing related activities. Assist in ad-hoc work tasks as assigned. Requirements Current undergraduate or graduate student in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related fields. Interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR as a career pathway. Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail. Good event planning skills Comfortable with outreach and initiating conversations with new contacts. Proactive, resilient, and able to work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
