Our portfolio includes skincare brands SHISEIDO, Clé de Peau Beauté, IPSA, ANESSA, THE GINZA, Drunk Elephant, and ELIXIR; makeup brand NARS; and fragrance brands narciso rodriguez and ISSEY MIYAKE PARFUMS. MAIN PURPOSE Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will gain hands-on experience in localizing marketing strategies and developing insight-driven 360 marketing activities that are meaningful for the channel while ensuring brand consistency across Travel Retail markets in TR Asia region. You will be tagged to the Prestige cluster, handling 2 brands: IPSA & THE GINZA. You will be exposed to brand management fundamentals and the Travel Retail beauty industry with premium skincare brands. Other learning opportunities include a deeper understanding of the business value chain, the quick-evolving Chinese consumer digital & social landscape, and stakeholder management skills from working with people from various functions and countries. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business and innovation opportunities, as well as conduct local market price monitoring. Support seasonal launch updates, including the creation of launch books, forecasting, retailer presentations, outpost support, planning of market strategies, data management, research analysis, and adaptation/localization of creative content and marketing collateral. Assist in campaign planning, including ideation, vendor sourcing, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure relevance and alignment. Execute campaign activities by coordinating with store managers/agency and scheduling trade events to ensure smooth operations. Provide support in copywriting and translation of assets/information between English and Chinese. Maintain and enhance marketing file management, including distribution, assortment, pricing, and translation documentation. Digital Support with digital and social assets and development of e-Commerce content / PDP / shop-in-shop product information. Monitor and research market trends & competitor activities on Chinese social media such as Weibo, Xiao Hong Shu, WeChat to identify opportunities. Reporting Prepare competitor reports for internal communication and assist with monthly sales report submissions Assist in monthly sales reports data collection. Support internal cross-functional communication through regular reports. Administrative Support Assist the team on vendor creation, PO raising, quotation & invoice tracking Track weekly key product performance and monitor competitor activities. Compile post-event /post-launch reports for monitoring of ROI for each activity. Handle ad-hoc requests and facilitate communication between teams in Singapore and overseas offices. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS Able to commit to a 5 day/week internship Undergraduate or Postgraduate majoring in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent. At least one internship experience in marketing or beauty industry/FMCG is preferred, but not necessary. Passionate or have interest in the beauty industry Effective communication skills (verbal & written). Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Positive, enthusiastic and collaborative can-do mentality. Have strong project management skills/ Able to multi-task effectively, managing multiple projects while being cognizant of deadlines and priorities. Comfortable with numbers and analysis of data. Meticulous and attention to detail.
