The Innovation & Industry Partnerships team is enhancing its capabilities in partner engagement and ecosystem development through better use of data. This project focuses on building a data-driven partnerships database and visualisation platform to provide clear insights into industry collaborations, enabling more effective engagement planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making. The Selected Intern(s) Will Assist In Following Requirements Gathering & Research Work with the partnerships team to identify and prioritise key metrics and data parameters (e.g., company type, technology focus, presence, engagement levels) Translate business needs into functional requirements for dashboards, filters, and reporting outputs Data Collection & Preparation Review and audit the existing database for data quality issues (e.g., duplicates, missing data, inconsistencies) Clean, standardise, and organise datasets using structured formats and controlled vocabularies Support data enrichment efforts to improve completeness and usability Analytics & Dashboard Development Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualisations (charts, tables, diagrams) Implement features such as filters, drill-downs, and export functions Prepare report templates and dashboard outputs for user adoption Insights & Reporting Analyse data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in partnership engagement Produce insight summaries and visual reports to support decision-making Create presentation materials to communicate key findings and recommendations Stakeholder Engagement & Validation Facilitate feedback and usability sessions with internal stakeholders Gather and track enhancement requests and improvements Support ongoing engagement activities and data-driven discussions About You Undergraduate currently in Year 2 or Year 3, pursuing a degree in Business Artificial Intelligence Systems, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Information Engineering & Media, or a related discipline Possess basic data analysis and visualisation skills (Excel, Google Sheets, or Power BI and other relevant tools is a plus) Comfort with data cleaning and standardisation techniques Familiarity with project tracking tools is a plus Good communication and stakeholder-engagement skills for conducting feedback sessions; Comfortable in engagement.
