About this internship
Join Synapxe as an intern and see how you can contribute in powering a healthier Singapore. Internship@Synapxe is where curiosity meets impact! You would be able to gain practical experience, hone your skills, and be part of meaningful work that improves health through technology!
Singapore’s public healthcare system comprises three major clusters - NHG, NUHS, and SingHealth - each managing billing and financial operations across hospitals and polyclinics. The National Billing System (NBS) is a national SAP-based platform that standardises and modernises patient billing across these institutions, improving consistency, efficiency, and financial accuracy.
Following successful rollout in NHG and NUHS, the NBS 2.0 programme brings SingHealth (including institutions such as KKH and KBP) onto the platform.
This internship offers a rare opportunity to be part of a large-scale national healthcare IT implementation, working alongside Synapxe, Accenture, and healthcare stakeholders during a critical go-live phase.
Each intern will be assigned a dedicated mentor and will contribute meaningfully to the programme across a defined scope. While all three interns will share a common programme context, their responsibilities are differentiated to ensure depth of learning and clear value-add to the team.
