Job Description
The Knowledge Management Intern will support a Knowledge Management enhancement project aimed at improving the organisation's knowledge repository and operational efficiency. Throughout the internship, you will gain hands-on experience in managing the full knowledge lifecycle, from content creation and review to publication, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
Working closely with the Knowledge Management, Operations, Training, Quality Assurance, and Client teams, you will help review and update knowledge articles, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other reference materials. You will also assist in validating content with subject matter experts to ensure information is accurate, up to date, and aligned with current business processes.
In addition, you will support initiatives to improve document governance, enhance content quality and searchability, analyse user feedback, and identify opportunities to strengthen knowledge sharing across the organisation.
This internship provides valuable exposure to knowledge management, document governance, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, while contributing to better service quality and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
Knowledge Management
Maintain and administer the knowledge repository to ensure information is accurate, current, and accessible. Manage the lifecycle of knowledge assets, including creation, review, publication, revision, and archival.
Coordinate periodic reviews and validations of knowledge content with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Ensure compliance with established knowledge management standards, governance requirements, and version control processes.
Stakeholder Support & Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with Operations, Training, Quality Assurance, and Client stakeholders to facilitate timely knowledge updates arising from policy, process, system, or business changes.
Support knowledge-sharing initiatives and promote knowledge management best practices across teams.
Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to improve the quality, usability, and effectiveness of knowledge content.
Identify and implement improvements to knowledge management processes and repository structure to enhance operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when reviewing and maintaining documents.
Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with document management systems, knowledge repositories, or collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, or similar) is an advantage but not mandatory.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and engage effectively with stakeholders.
Willingness to learn new systems, business processes, and knowledge management practices.
Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards continuous learning and improvement.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle organisational information with professionalism.
