About this internship
About us
Astro Health is a Singapore healthcare start-up building modern, accessible care for Asia. Our first venture, Trimly (trimly.sg), is an MOH-licensed clinic focusing on weight management, built for women in Singapore. Founder-led, real revenue, and a six-figure monthly ad budget. Video is our biggest creative lever.
About the role
We're looking for a full-time Video Producer Intern to join our growth team — ideally able to start on short notice and commit to 3–6 months.
If you spend your time filming, cutting, and experimenting with short-form video — and the things you post actually get watched — we'd love to hear from you. This internship is the chance to ship real work at volume: videos that run on real ad budgets, for a brand that treats video as its core growth engine.
Location:
Singapore (hybrid — on-site for shoot days)
Duration:
3–6 months (full-time)
Start date:
As soon as possible
Compensation:
Paid internship (Opportunity to convert to a full-time role)
What does the role involve?
You'll work directly with the founder who leads growth and own the craft end of our short-form pipeline — from concept to shoot to final cut. This is a hands-on role: you'll shoot and cut every week, blend AI-generated footage with what you film, and assist on our polished YouTube-ad shoots, sharpening your hook writing, editing instinct, and camera craft on work that ships.
That's the whole job: video. Publishing, community, and static ads live with the rest of the team — you make the thing worth posting.
Responsibilities
Ideate, script, film, and edit short-form vertical videos for TikTok, Reels, and paid ads
Pitch weekly concepts and hooks from trends you spot, from what performed, and from our angle library; the founder greenlights, you make
Turn AI-generated video drafts into finished cuts, and blend AI footage with what you shoot
Repurpose our agency's and creators' footage into new clips and formats
Support commercial shoots for YouTube ads — shot lists, lighting setup, second camera, behind-the-scenes capture, and asset organisation
Track how your videos performed each week and feed it into what you cut next
Stay on top of social trends, creator content, and emerging formats to inspire fresh ideas
What are we looking for?
Ability to commit to a full-time internship of 3–6 months, based in Singapore
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree — film, media, design, or marketing is a plus, but any field works if the work is good
Short-form videos you personally shot and edited that people actually watched — a personal TikTok or IG counts; show us, with numbers
Comfortable shooting AND editing — CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci; After Effects is a plus
Familiarity with editing for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form platforms — hooks, pacing, retention
AI fluency, and familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Nano Banana, or AI video generators
Comfortable filming people — our videos star founders and real patients, not stock footage; camera, lighting, or audio experience beyond a phone is a plus
Positive, curious, proactive — comfortable receiving feedback and iterating fast
Care about the audience: women dealing with weight, hormones, and everything attached to that
Interview process
A 30-minute chat, then a
paid task
— you shoot and edit one short TikTok/Reels-style vertical from a hook we give you, on your own phone or camera. We pay for it because it's real work, and it beats three rounds of interviews. We decide fast after that.
