Video Production Intern

Company Description SM Universe Singapore is a K-pop academy dedicated to training the next generation of performers right here in Singapore. Our team creates content across multiple social media platforms — from behind-the-scenes training footage to performance highlights — and we're growing fast. We're looking for a passionate video production intern to join us and help tell our story. Role Description We are seeking a motivated and creative Video Production Intern to join our team. This is an on-site position based in Singapore. As part of our dynamic environment, you will play a key role in delivering impactful video projects that enhance our brand and audience engagement. What you'll do Film and edit content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc. Capture training sessions, performances, and academy life on camera ⁠Assist in pre-production planning, storyboarding, and shot lists Add subtitles, graphics, and music to finished cuts Organise and manage raw footage and media asset libraries Collaborate with trainers and staff to understand content goals Support the team in brainstorming content ideas suited to K-pop audiences What we're looking for ⁠Currently enrolled in a Diploma or Degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field ⁠Comfortable with video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar) A good eye for pacing, composition, and storytelling Genuine interest in K-pop culture and the music/performance space Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Bonus: experience shooting performance or dance content Bonus: basic motion graphics skills (After Effects or Canva) Bonus: any proficiency in the Korean language
