We are seeking a highly reliable and hardworking
Warehouse Assistant
to support our warehouse operations, within a
Life Science and Healthcare
warehouse operation environment. This is a hands-on role who will be responsible for the daily receiving, put away, storing, picking, dispatching orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to details, and a team-oriented attitude, in delivering operational performance to achieve a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.
This role will work closely with the Team Leader and/or Supervisor to ensure all customer and operational requirements are effectively met.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Receive, unload, put away, inspect and process incoming stocks
Pick, pack and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently
Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations
Conduct regular stock checks, perform cycle count and assist in inventory audits
Operate material handling equipment (MHE) as needed within warehouse environment
Report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies to immediate Superiors
Maintain a clean and work safe environment at all times
Follow all company policies, and health, safety security and environment (HSSE) procedures
Customer Relationship Management
Act as the ground operational member, ensuring daily operation activities are executed smoothly, in accordance with the business objectives
Cost & Resource Management
Perform daily activities accurately and correctly, to minimize operation errors
Involve in operation continuous improvements to upkeep the operation performance
Stakeholder & People Management
Build strong working relationships with internal operation team members
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and delivering performance
Job Requirements
Qualification & Experience
Minimum secondary education
Basic English, Maths and Computer skills
Previous warehouse experience in Life Science and Healthcare is an advantage but not essential
Forklift licence and experience in driving Material Handling Equipment (MHE), but not essential
Key Competencies
Good physical fitness, ability to lift and move heavy items, using appropriate equipment
Good communication and Attention to detail and accuracy in warehouse operations
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of warehouse management system (WMS), but not essential
Flexibility to work in various shifts including weekends and public holidays, if required
