Flavour Laboratory Assistant / Intern

Job Description: 1. Compound flavor samples according to approved formulas and instructions. 2. Accurately weigh the materials using laboratory equipment. 3. Ensure all compounding activities are completed within the required timelines. 4. Maintain a high level of accuracy to minimize rework and material wastage. 5. Verify materials, batch numbers, and quantities before use. 6. Perform quality checks, including appearance & color where required. 7. Review and ensure optimal inventory level of library flavors. 8. Clean lab equipment, glassware and apparatus after use. 9. Follow all laboratory safety procedures, SOPs, and quality requirements. 10. Assist with inventory management and material replenishment. 11. Acquiring materials from the production / warehouse for compounding 12. Ensure materials used in the laboratory are stored at correct temperature and location to ensure quality and safety 13. To carry any additional job-related duties as assigned from time to time, when and where necessary 14. Maintain good housekeeping and a clean and safe working environment in the laboratory. 15. To carry out any additional job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time. Qualification: - NITEC / Diploma in Food Science or equivalent in years of similar experience - Fresh graduates are welcome to apply - Good organizing skills - Basic laboratory knowledge - Basic knowledge of MS office
