    About this internship

    We are seeking a Portfolio Construction & Advisory Intern to gain practical exposure to portfolio structuring, asset allocation and investment planning within a professional wealth management environment. This internship provides an opportunity to understand how different investment objectives, time horizons and risk considerations are incorporated when developing portfolio strategies. Interns will support the team with research, portfolio analysis and preparation of materials used in investment and wealth-planning discussions. Key Responsibilities •⁠ ⁠Assist with the preparation and review of portfolio proposals based on different investment objectives and time horizons. •⁠ ⁠Support analysis of asset allocation across equities, bonds, funds, ETFs, REITs and other investment instruments. •⁠ ⁠Research investment products and gather relevant information for portfolio comparison and review. •⁠ ⁠Assist in assessing portfolio diversification, asset exposure and potential risk considerations. •⁠ ⁠Compile information relating to investment performance, market conditions and product characteristics. •⁠ ⁠Support the preparation of portfolio presentations, investment summaries and client discussion materials. •⁠ ⁠Assist with scenario analysis to understand how different portfolio structures may respond to changing market conditions. •⁠ ⁠Review existing portfolio information and assist with identifying areas for further analysis. •⁠ ⁠Monitor relevant economic and financial developments that may affect portfolio positioning. •⁠ ⁠Work with the team on investment-related projects, presentations and portfolio review exercises. •⁠ ⁠Assist in organising research findings and translating financial information into clear presentation materials. Interns may work on selected portfolio exercises, asset-allocation assignments and investment research projects.
